The Gadigal Centre is the University of Sydney's dedicated student centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
Community plays an important role in our culture, and this bespoke space is a home away from home. It is a place to connect with culture, interact with Elders and fellow students, and feel supported by our staff. This dedicated centre allows for a sense of belonging and empowers students to share our culture throughout the wider university community.
As an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Alumni, your journey with us continues. We'd love to chat with you about postgraduate study opportunities and ways you can stay deeply connected with the University.
By supporting the Gadigal Centre and our programs, you can make a lasting impact on future generations of Indigenous students, helping to expand and empower our student community.
Come visit us on the front lawn to have a yarn with our students, researchers and staff. Our partners will be providing cultural activities and food throughout the day, including:
- "Culture on The Move" facilitating weaving workshops (book via the agenda)
- “Goanna Hut” will sample their dampers, native jams and delicious juice
- "IndigiGrow" will offer information and giveaways of indigenous plants and seedlings
Additional information:
- 'Goanna Hut’ and 'IndigiGrow’ samples and giveaways available while stocks last.
