Sustainability tour

Saturday, December 2, 2023, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Michael Spence Building (F23)

Know where the endangered Wollemi Pine is on campus? Have you been shaded by a Living Lab? Do you know where we can generate 1.2 MW of solar electricity and compost up to 500kg of organic waste each day?

We invite you to rediscover our campus through a sustainability lens. Making the sometimes-invisible aspects of sustainability visible, this trail tour will weave you through the Camperdown Campus, as you explore sustainability in action and learn about the progress made towards the University of Sydney’s Sustainability Strategy (2020) and the UNs Sustainable Development Goals (2030).

Tours are scheduled to leave at 10 am., 12 noon, and 2 pm.

Meet your guide in front of F23 Michael Spence Building (corner of City Road and Eastern Avenue)

Note: Limited places are available, and registration is required. Click "add to planner" to secure your spot. The tour requires around 1km of walking.
