Open buildings program - Engineering and Technology Precinct (J03)

Based on the University of Sydney’s Wingara Mura design principles, our new Engineering and Technology Precinct consists of nine levels of student spaces and cutting-edge research labs that flow seamlessly from the previous Electrical Engineering Building via a spectacular glass atrium, connecting our legacy with our future. The precinct has placed sustainability at the heart of its design, with energy-efficient lighting, improved indoor air quality features, a solar photovoltaic system on the roof, promotion of sustainable transport, and surface heat reduction-conscious landscape design.
The student team from Sydney Motorsport will be in the foyer with a display of their award-winning project and students from Civil Engineering will have a display of their projects.
