Gadigal Centre
The Gadigal Centre is the University of Sydney's dedicated student centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
Community plays an important role in our culture, and this bespoke space is a home away from home. It is a place to connect with culture, interact with Elders and fellow students, and feel supported by our staff. This dedicated centre allows for a sense of belonging and empowers students to share our culture throughout the wider university community.
The Gadigal Centre will be open from 11 am - 4 pm.
Throughout the day, the Gadigal Centre and its partners will be providing a range of cultural activities such as:
- "Muggera" will perform music and dance performances and host a collaborative artwork that guests can participate in whilst they move through the space.
- "Culture on The Move" will facilitate weaving workshops (book via the Festival Planner)
- "IndigiGrow" will offer information and giveaways of indigenous plants and seedlings*.
There will also be:
* USU Ice-cream Cart*
• Face Painting
• Bennys Burgers*
*whilst stock lasts.
