Join us for an exciting session as the Health Longevity Team from the Charles Perkins Centre (led by the world-leading longevity expert, Professor Luigi Fontana) goes head-to-head with Celebrity Chef, writer, and television presenter Adam Liaw. As one of Australia’s most in-demand media personalities, Adam hosts ‘The Cook Up with Adam Liaw' (SBS), ‘Who The Bloody Hell Are We? (SBS), ‘Good Food Kitchen’ (Nine), Adam & Poh’s ‘Great Australian Bites; 'Tomorrow Tonight' (ABC) and presents ‘How Taste Changed The World’ for Audible. Adam is also UNICEF Australia’s National Ambassador for Nutrition.
The ‘Health for Life’ research and Clinical Program at the Charles Perkins Centre has delivered a paradigm shift in understanding how diet and exercise profoundly influence human aging biology and the initiation, progression, and prognosis of many clinical conditions, ranging from obesity to type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer.
During this session hosted by Sarah Berry (Lifestyle Health Editor for the Sydney Morning Herald), Professor Fontana, along with the Health and Longevity team, will illustrate practical steps to optimise your health. They’ll show how your shopping habits, cooking techniques, and dietary choices can significantly influence your health and longevity, all while ensuring a delightful culinary experience – and this time, Adam will be the judge!
