Weaving Workshops at the Gadigal Centre

Join Gadigal Centre staff and community members for weaving workshops. Learn key words of language, share stories and gain insights into the social and cultural knowledge embedded in the traditional Indigenous coil weaving technique.

There is something magic when a group of people are sitting around weaving together, conversations that might not usually happen start to happen, people start to get to know one another on a different level, and then all of a sudden, you also have a new creation in your hand that you have made with love and positive energy.

All are welcome to join the workshops, and although an hour has been allocated, participants may finish their weaving early or stay later for a cuppa!
